Delays that Make no Sense
A colleague of mine (let’s call her Jane) was telling me her business idea for a building her aging parents own. She was anguishing over her procrastination with a crucial step in her plan. Twenty minutes into the conversation I saw the wall she might eventually hit.
Jane had a key person in her plan who owned the data she needed for her pitch to potential buyers. I asked, “Why don’t you ask him to share the data with you?”
“Because I don’t want him assuming that we don’t have the research to back our plan, and I’m thinking I have to give him a percentage to motivate him to work with us.”
“Does he need the money?”
“No, he’s already well established.”
“Is your business idea a threat to his business?”
“No….”
“Then why not assume there is goodwill and that he will play ball without a financial incentive since it’s just information sharing and no work is involved?”
She stared at me blankly.
Don’t be Blind to Goodwill
Jane had already spent weeks delaying approaching this key person due to Indecisiveness. When she rehearsed her conversation with him, the emotion at the end of it was Rejection. Her assumption that he would not cooperate without a share in the business was dictated by her Insecurity. And her unwillingness to be open about her need for this data was a form of emotional Defensiveness.
None of these emotions had anything to do with her current situation. The reason they were activated and controlling her behaviour was simply because they were resonating too loudly. Too many of these emotions had built up in her body over the years and they were now out of control, like a cancer.
God gave us a rational mind with which to make logical decisions. He also gave us a Pineal Gland, which is the seat of intuition. Intuition gives us accurate energetic information about the world around us. Both our minds and our intuition can be dulled by Trapped Emotions. Clearing excess energies (emotions) allows our minds to think more objectively, and our intuition to guide us for our highest good.

Here are just some of the questions I would ask the subconscious in an Emotion Code session with Jane:
What is the most important trapped emotion jeopardizing Jane’s business idea for her parents’ building?
Is the fear of Vulnerability affecting the outreach efforts required of her for this project to succeed?
What Trapped Emotions can we release that will provide her with the self-confidence to approach this key person?
What Trapped Emotions can we release that will provide her with the most optimal words to use when communicating with this key person?
Is the fear of Failure contributing to her procrastination in approaching this key person? Which Trapped Emotions can we release that support this fear of failure?
While I did mention that emotional blockages could be causing her confusion and offered some Emotion Code sessions to ease some of it, I did not go into details about the potential programming that was running her show. Becoming conscious of patterns takes a highly self-aware person and is a sensitive journey. It’s important to respect each person’s pace and be encouraging regardless of where they are in their awakening.
Your Subconscious IS YOUR KEY PERSON
If you’re a conscious entrepreneur ready to approach your key person (which is your subconscious), you could benefit from Emotion Code. Even if nothing changes in your business, taking the edge off of some of these emotions will change your experience from a stressful one to a comfortable one.
